What is the Team App?

How To Use?

The Team App is available for Mac, Windows and as a Chrome browser extension. After downloading and signing into the app, your contracts will automatically populate. Then, all you need to do is to select your current contract and log in the hours you’re working. Logging your work time allows Upwork to know what projects you’re currently working on.

Note:
You cannot use the team app without an active contract.

Is the Team App Mandatory to use?

No, it’s not mandatory to use the Team App. However, if you’re hired on an hourly contract and the client requires the Upwork Protection, you should use the App as it offers certain protections that benefit both freelancers and clients.
