How do Upwork Connects function?

• Use of Connects: When you submit a proposal for a job, you will spend a certain number of Connects. The majority about 90% of jobs require 2 Connects to submit a proposal, but this may vary depending on the job.
• Purchasing Connects: If your free Connects run out, or if you’re a new freelancer who doesn’t receive free Connects, you can purchase more. The price per Connect depends on your location.
• Unused Connects: At the end of each month, any unused Connects in your account will roll over to the next month, up to a maximum of 200 Connects.
