Upwork how to review?
How to Review a Job on Upwork
As a freelancer, your reviews play a key role in attracting potential clients. While Upwork automatically enables clients to leave reviews upon the completion of the contract, it is equally important for freelancers to provide their feedback as well. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to review a job on Upwork:
Step 1: Go to My Jobs
As soon as the contract ends, you can leave a review. To do so, visit the ‘My Jobs’ section of your dashboard.
Step 2: Locate the Completed Contract
Here, you will find a list of all the active and ended contracts. Simply locate the contract that you wish to leave a review for.
Step 3: Leave Feedback
Click on the title of the job to open up its details. At the bottom of this page, find the ‘Provide feedback’ option. Click on it, and a popup window will open up.
Next, the process involves a few straightforward steps:
- Star Rating: Provide a star rating for your overall experience with this client on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
- Comment Section: Here, you are encouraged to share detailed feedback about your experience. This could include communication with the client, the clarity of project instructions, payment punctuality, etc.
- Private Feedback: This section is visible only to Upwork. You can share additional feedback or concerns that you wish to keep between you and Upwork.
- Submit: Once you’ve completed your review, click ‘Submit’ to finalize.
Remember, providing reviews not only helps other freelancers make informed decisions but also benefits the platform by promoting a transparent and trustworthy environment.
I hope this guide is helpful and encourages you to review your jobs regularly on Upwork. Good luck with freelancing!
