Connects are digital tokens freelancers use to apply for jobs on Upwork. Here’s how to earn them:

Purchase Connects

Connects can be purchased in bundles. These bundles range from 10 to 80 connects.

• 10 Connects: $1.50
• 20 Connects: $3.00
• 40 Connects: $6.00
• 60 Connects: $9.00
• 80 Connects: $12.00

Connects Through Upwork Plus

When you upgrade to a Freelancer Plus plan, you’ll get 70 connects each month, plus additional features like a custom URL and the ability to see competitor bids on jobs.

Earn Connects Through Job Invitations

If a client directly invites you to bid on a job, you won’t use any of your connects. If you’re short on connects, this could be a great opportunity to save them for other applications.
