What are Connects?

Connects are virtual tokens used by freelancers on Upwork to submit job proposals. Unlike before, Connects are no longer free. They require to be purchased. Here’s how to do it:

How to Buy Connects

Step 1: Go to Settings

Login to your Upwork account. Click on the Settings icon situated in the top right corner of your screen. Then, select ‘Membership & Connects’ from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Choose Connects

Scroll down to the section ‘Add More Connects’. Here, you can see several packages of Connects with different quantities. Choose the one that suits your needs.

Step 3: Pay and Confirm

Click ‘Buy Connects’. A prompt will pop up asking you to add a billing method if you haven’t already included one. Choose your preferred method of payment and click on ‘Add Billing Method’. Once the payment is confirmed, the Connects will be added to your account instantly.
