Submitting for Approval

Once your profile is set up, you can go ahead and submit it for review. Every new freelancer’s profile must be approved by Upwork before it can be made public for clients to see. The review process typically takes 24 hours.

After Approval:

• Apply to jobs: Once your account is activated, get started on applying for jobs that cater to your skills set.
• Write a compelling proposal: Each application should be coupled with a persuasive proposal. Jobs on Upwork are competitive and having a strong proposal could well differentiate you from the competition.

Remember, getting your profile approved on Upwork can be challenging. Make sure to emphasize your specialized skills and experience and be patient. Approval may not be instant but it’s worth the wait!
