Signing up for Upwork is a straightforward process. Follow these steps and you’ll have your freelancer profile up and running in no time.
Create an Account
1. Visit the Upwork homepage: Open your preferred internet browser and type in www.upwork.com into your URL bar, which will bring you to Upwork’s homepage.
2. Click ‘Sign Up’: On the upper right-hand corner of the website, you’ll find a ‘Sign up’ button. Click on it to get started on your new account.
Choosing the Right Type of Account
After clicking the ‘Sign Up’ button, you’ll be directed to a new page where you’ll have to decide on the type of account you wish to open. For freelancers, select the option ‘Work as a Freelancer’.
