Getting a Billing Confirmation

Upwork will send you an email confirmation once your billing method is successfully verified. This means the verification process went through without any issues.

Checking Your Settings

Another way to check is by looking at your Account Settings under the Billing Methods section. Here’s how:

• Click on your profile photo at the top-right corner of your Upwork account.
• Select “Settings” from the dropdown.
• From the left sidebar menu, choose “Billing Methods”.
• Under the Billing Methods section, the status of your added billing method will be displayed. If your billing method is successfully verified, it will show “Active”.

If the Verification Fails

If you find that the verification fails, it could be due to various reasons, such as inaccurate card details or insufficient funds. In this case, you can try providing the details again making sure they’re accurate, or use another billing method.
