Before officially deleting your account, it’s important to consider that this action is irreversible. Once you’ve deleted your Upwork account, you can’t recover it. If you’re sure about this decision and understand the setbacks, follow the steps below to delete your account.

Step-by-Step Guide

• Step 1: Log in to Your Account

  First, log in to your Upwork account with your username and password.

• Step 2: Go to Settings

  Once logged in, navigate to the “Settings” section on your dashboard. This section typically resides under your profile name on the right hand side.

• Step 3: User Profile

  Under settings, you will find different options. Click on “User Profile” to proceed.

• Step 4: Delete Your Account

  In user profile settings, scroll down until you find the “Close my account” option. Click on it to start the process.

• Step 5: Confirm Your Account Deletion
