Understanding Upwork Connects

Connects are virtual tokens that are used in the Upwork system to submit proposals for jobs. As a freelancer on Upwork, you will need to use Connects to express your interest in opportunities on the platform.

Reset Period for Upwork Connects

Upwork Connects are refreshed every month. Specifically, they are reset on the day of the month you purchased or earned them. For example, if you bought or got your Connects on the 15th, they’ll be replenished on the 15th of the next month.

• Note 1: Connects in your account will roll over each month up to a maximum of 200 connects – they do not disappear if you don’t use them.
• Note 2: If you run out of Connects, you can still purchase more at any time.
• Note 3: Free Connects are no longer provided automatically each month unless you have a Plus membership.

So, keep track of your Connects status and their renewal date to effectively manage and utilise them for your job applications on Upwork.
