• Make sure that you fit all the criteria specified in the job post.

Writing the Proposal

After analyzing the job post, you can start drafting your proposal.

1. Start with a strong introduction

Your opening should grab the client’s attention. Introduce yourself, mention your expertise and explain why you are the perfect fit for the job.
Example: ‘Hi, I’m [Your Name], a seasoned graphic designer with over 10 years of experience…’

2. Showcase your skills and experience

Discuss your relevant skills and professional experience. Provide examples of your previous work that is similar to what the client is looking for.
Example: ‘I have previously worked on projects like…’

3. Be specific and detailed

Explain in detail how you plan to execute the project. The client should be able to understand that you have a clear approach towards the problem.

4. Ask relevant questions

To show that you are interested and proactive, ask the client about any specific expectations or additional information needed for the project.

5. End your proposal with a call to action

To encourage the client to check out your profile and portfolio, include a polite and engaging call to action at the end of your proposal.
Example: ‘I would be delighted to discuss your project in detail. Looking forward to hearing from you.’
