How to Take Upwork Tests?

Introduction

Upwork Tests are a great way for freelancers to showcase their professional skills to potential clients. They are free and can be accessed directly from your Upwork profile. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to take these tests.

Step 1: Access Your Upwork Profile

Login to your Upwork account and click on ‘View Profile’.

Step 2: Find Tests

Move down to the ‘Skills’ section of your profile and click on ‘Take Test’. You will then see a comprehensive list of different tests.

Step 3: Choose a Test

Scroll through the list of tests available and choose one that aligns with your professional skills and the services you wish to offer on Upwork. Click ‘Start Now’.

Step 4: Take the Test

• Read the questions carefully and choose the most accurate answer.
• Click ‘Next’ to move onto the next question.
• If unsure about a question, click ‘Skip’ to move onto the next one. You can come back to skipped questions at the end.

Note: You will have a set amount of time to complete the test and you cannot pause it.

Step 5: Submit Your Test Results

Once you’ve answered all the questions to the best of your ability, click ‘Submit’. Your results will then be visible on your Upwork profile.

Tips:

• You can retake the tests every few months to try and improve your score.
• The higher your score, the better it looks to potential clients.
