After opening a new message, you will be able to write your message in the text box provided. Be sure to keep your message polite, concise, and relevant. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

- Specify the job you’re referring to.
- State the purpose of your message.
- End with a courteous close and your name.
Sending your Message
Once you’ve written your message, simply click ‘Send’. The recipient will be notified of your message and can respond directly through the Upwork messaging platform.
