# Deleting an Upwork Account## Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Login to Your Account

Go to the Upwork Homepage and login using your username and password.

Step 2: Access Settings

Select the arrow next to your profile picture at the top right corner, then click on Settings.

Step 3: Choose Contact Info

In the left-hand menu, scroll down to Contact Info and click on it.

Step 4: Close My Account

Scroll down to the Close my account link at the bottom of the page and click on it.

Step 5: Follow Account Closure Steps

Follow the prompts to confirm that you want to close your account. Make sure you withdraw all your funds before you do this.

• Saved Data: Be aware that closing your account does not necessarily delete all the information Upwork has about you, such as your work history and reviews.
